Between Love & Hate

A website dedicated to my novel Between Love & Hate, telling a story that includes topics of girlhood, self acceptance, and the dangers of indoctrination and extremism. On here I hope to acccomplish developing my story, it's world, and characters more. Giving them full-fledged lives, so others can feel close to them, and understand them truely. This has been a passion of mine since 2021, and has became a project that means a lot to me and my future. I hope to one day finish this book, and finish the thought I started years ago.

Between Love & Hate is told by the perspective of a 17 year old girl named Shelby Cherry. During her final year of highschool at a private school for girls, she begins to unravel a secret that had been buried for centuries, that is, until now. Her friends and teammates are all hiding something from her, and it seems like everyone knows but her, even the stupid new girl knows more than she does. They sneak off in the middle of the night, wear sketchy face paint and masks, and always avoid the subject even when forced to talk about it. The year 1999 is coming to a close soon, and Shelby must balance the stress of school, being the captain of a soccer team, juggling relationships, a probable cult, and an annoying new teammate who won't leave her alone. On top of all this, the world is ending come year 2000.
